Consequently, he is pursuing an agreement whereby Iran’s mullahs would actually abandon their ambitions to acquire nuclear weapons – and thereby prevent another “endless” Mideast war.
Mr. Trump’s courtiers insist that he’ll succeed where his predecessors have consistently failed. For that to occur, however, the mullahs must faithfully forswear their determination to trigger Armageddon, thus bringing back the Shiites’ messiah and ushering in their own Golden Age, in which all the world submits to Islam.
Ain’t gonna happen.
That being the case, the only realistic hope for peace lies with the end of the Iranian regime. A true master deal-maker knows when to cut his losses. This is that time and Israel is prepared to do the heavy lifting.
