In a letter delivered to Governor Greg Abbott of Texas and Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, and in an online press conference, a group of thirty-three elected officials, national security experts, pastors, and conservative leaders, including FedUp PAC and CHQ Chairman Richard A. Viguerie and CHQ Managing Editor George Rasley, urged the Governors to follow-up their designations of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations as terrorist organizations with a moratorium on further construction of mosques and so-called Islamic Centers.
The relentless expansion in the United States of the number and footprint of “Islamic societies,” “Islamic centers” and other mosques tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and similarly sharia-supremacist networks is giving rise to “critical infrastructure for jihad” in America according to a just-released open letter to Governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida. The signatories – thirty-three leaders of patriotic organizations across the country – commend the two men for correctly designating the Brotherhood as a “terrorist organization.”
Having done so, the signers believe it is not only prudent, but mandatory, that the organization’s so-called “masjids” and those of others who share the Brothers’ determination to “destroy Western civilization from within” be investigated.
Specifically, the letter calls for the Governors to evaluate whether such facilities are being used – as they have been since the time of Mohammed (for more on this unbroken and odious history, view the BanSharia.com 2-minute “micro-documentary” and its two webinars here and here) to prepare for and support violent jihad. They also urge Governors Abbott and DeSantis to declare moratoriums in their states on the approval of additional mosques at least until those investigations are completed.
Highlights of the letter include:
- We want to thank you for your leadership in designating the Muslim Brotherhood and its American front group called the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as what they are: terrorist organizations.
In light of the threat these sharia-supremacist organizations represent, it is vital that your designations be enforced and their operations ended in your respective states.
- That is especially true given the critical infrastructure of jihad they have been creating in both Texas and Florida, and in much of the rest of the country. That infrastructure includes what the Brotherhood brands as “Islamic societies” or “Islamic centers,” but are more generically described as “mosques.”
- It is indisputably the case that more of them are being approved and constructed every month, especially in your states which have been targeted by the Brothers in their campaign of stealthy “civilization jihad.”
- That term appears prominently in the Muslim Brotherhood’s secret 1991 plan for conquering the United States, entitled the Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal of the Group in North America.
- It was written by a top Brother, then and now: Mohamed Akram. The Memorandum declares: The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Muslim Brotherhood must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
- Also illuminating is what Akram says about the role of mosques: “As much as we own and direct these centers at the continent level, we can say we are marching successfully towards the settlement of Dawa in this country. Meaning that the ‘center's role should be the same as the “mosque's” role during the time of God's prophet...when he marched to ‘settle’ the Dawa in its first generation in Medina.” (Emphasis added.)
- In other words, the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission is to destroy Western civilization and the role of mosques they control in accomplishing that goal is the same as the one played during the time of Mohammed’s conquests, starting in Medina – including storing weapons and training and planning for their use in jihad.
- A growing number of public comments by imams, Muslim Brotherhood front group leaders and sharia-supremacist politicians confirm such seditious intentions and raise an urgent question: Public safety and national security may be at risk from some, if not all, of the existing mosques in America. And, that possibility must be investigated as a matter of the utmost urgency.
Needless to say, while such investigations are underway in Texas and Florida, moratoriums on the approval and construction of any additional mosques in Texas and Florida (and other states) would be required and is urged by the letter and its signers.

Dear Governors Abbott and DeSantis:
We want to thank you for your leadership in designating the Muslim Brotherhood and its American front group called the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as what they are: terrorist organizations. In light of the threat these sharia-supremacist organizations represent, it is vital that your designations be enforced and their operations ended in your respective states.
That is especially true given the critical infrastructure of jihad they have been creating in both Texas and Florida, and in much of the rest of the country. That infrastructure includes what the Brotherhood brands as “Islamic societies” or “Islamic centers,” but are more generically described as “mosques.”
Published estimates suggest that there are at least 3,150 such facilities in the USA. CAIR’s cofounder and executive director – arguably the top Brotherhood operator in the United States, Nihad Awad – claims there are already 4,000 mosques in this country.
Whatever the correct number, it is indisputably the case that more of them are being approved and constructed every month, especially in your states which have been targeted by the Brothers in their campaign of stealthy “civilization jihad.”
That term appears prominently in the Muslim Brotherhood’s secret 1991 plan for conquering the United States, entitled the Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal of the Group in North America. It was written by a top Brother, then and now: Mohamed Akram. The Memorandum declares:
The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Muslim Brotherhood must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” (Emphasis added.)
Also illuminating is what Akram says about the role of mosques. Under a section entitled, “Understanding the role and the nature of work of ‘the Islamic Center’ in every city with what achieves the goal of the process of settlement” is the following passage: “As much as we own and direct these centers at the continent level, we can say we are marching successfully towards the settlement of Dawa in this country. Meaning that the ‘center's’ role should be the same as the “mosque's” role during the time of God's prophet…when he marched to ‘settle’ the Dawa in its first generation in Medina.” (Emphasis added.)
In other words, the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission is to destroy Western civilization and the role of mosques they control in accomplishing that goal is the same as the one played during the time of Mohammed’s conquests, starting in Medina – including storing weapons and training and planning for their use in jihad.
A growing number of public comments by imams, Muslim Brotherhood front group leaders and sharia-supremacist politicians confirm such seditious intentions and raise an urgent question: Public safety and national security may be at risk from some, if not all, of the existing mosques in America. And, that possibility must be investigated as a matter of the utmost urgency.
Needless to say, while such investigations are underway in Texas and Florida, moratoriums on the approval and construction of any additional mosques in your states would be required.
Given the compelling state interests at issue here, we believe such a moratorium could be implemented within federal constitutional and statutory frameworks.
We urge you to undertake both the necessary assessments of the threat posed by Islamic societies, Islamic centers and other mosques in the states you govern and preclude for the duration of those investigations actions with respect to expanding further this infrastructure that could compound that threat.
Sincerely,
