In today’s post to his must-read substack our friend John Anthony, the Truth Monster, explains what is on the line in the midterm elections.
Wrote Mr. Anthony:
Much of my career has been in research. As a teacher, I researched ways to help children learn, become independent thinkers, and problem solvers.
Later, as a consultant I researched how to help managers excel in their fields, improve productivity, and blend different cultures into unified teams.
After retiring I focused on communities and researched what happens to property rights as governments gain more control over lives and assets.
The Wakeup
When COVID hit, like many I believed we faced a life-threatening plague and looked forward to the promised vaccine.
On December 10, 2020, everything changed.
That was the day Pfizer released the COVID-19 Vaccine study to NEJM and the FDA released their Pfizer briefing document.
I did what I always do, researched them.
Both proved the COVID shots accomplished next to nothing.
The 95% effective only referred to the relative drop in a very small baseline risk.
The data shows you would have to treat 119 people for 1 of them, (less than 1%), to avoid having both the symptoms of COVID and a positive PCR test result. But only for 2 months after the last shot. (The same trial showed unvaccinated participants also had less than a 1% chance of this.)
That’s it. Nothing about severity, hospitalization, transmission, or susceptibility. Pregnant women and the prior infected were excluded so no one had any idea the effect on them.
From day 1, nearly everything coming out of Pfizer was compromised:
- There were 9 protocol amendments on a trial that was already running.
- The case definition was rewritten in the final weeks before data cutoff.
- The median follow-up was under 2 months at authorization.
- Durability decayed to ~84% by month 4–6.
- FDA wanted 75 years to release all the data…reversed only by court order.
The 95% headline that was technically true was also 100% misleading. (FDA p60)
Pfizer’s own post-marketing report logged 1,223 deaths and 42,086 case reports in three months but redacted the denominator that would let anyone calculate what that meant.
Fact checkers defended the vaccine arguing you can’t conclude causation. They’re right. But you also can’t conclude safety. Pfizer’s redaction made sure you couldn’t calculate either.
The bigger story is not the lies, but the way they’ve been perpetuated. Five years later, we are only beginning to have broad awareness of the deceit and its damage.
Silencing Truth, Spreading Lies
The Virality Project: Coordinated mass censorship between federal agencies and social media platforms.
Housed at the Stanford Internet Observatory
- Partnered with the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public, Graphika, and NYU,
- Funded through the Stanford Cyber Policy Center.
- Worked directly with platforms to flag content it categorized as misinformation.
- Internal documents released through litigation and congressional inquiry, showed extensive coordination with federal agencies, including DHS and the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) on how to handle COVID and vaccine content.
- Speech control circumvented the 1st amendment by routing communications through private entities and to social media platforms.
The protocol amendments and litigation changed the permanent record that shapes future conversations and priorities.
Missouri Versus Biden: A First Amendment lawsuit accusing federal officials of coercing social media companies into suppressing disfavored COVID speech. Litigation discovery showed:
- Nearly daily communication between federal officials and platform trust-and-safety teams.
- Requests, pressure, and implied consequences around COVID and election content.
- A district court initially enjoined much of this; the Supreme Court later ruled on standing grounds, not on whether the pressure was appropriate.
EX. This CDC study used mismatched groups and covid-like symptoms to falsely claim the vaccines were superior to natural immunity.. and it travelled:
- CDC posted the study in their MMR Weekly.
- Medical associations and publications repeat the claim.
- MEDPAGE Today circulated the flawed study to, “about 83% of U.S. practicing healthcare professionals, including approximately 890,000 validated physicians and 359,000 nurse specialists.”
- Analysis reveals the study’s claim “…the Covid-recovered have stronger and longer-lasting immunity against Covid disease than the vaccinated” is false.
With COVID, the information control system became part of the normalized infrastructure.
The Election Integrity Project
- In 2020 the same players and mechanisms that drove the COVID censorships were put in place for the election.
- “The members of the Election Integrity Partnership and Virality Project conspired with state, local, and federal government officials to violate the First Amendment rights of social media users…”
Lies Die Hard
It has taken 5 years of exposing the COVID vaccine truth, yet even today, 46.7% of doctors continue to receive and recommend the COVID-19 vaccines.
There’s more work to do.
Keeping Truth Alive
A recent study of 21,990 children compared the COVID vaccinated to unvaccinated and discovered compared with COVID-unvaccinated children, COVID-vaccinated children had significantly higher odds of:
AUTISM: +32%
ADHD: +33%
ANY NEURODEVELOPMENTAL DISORDER: +23%
SPECIAL-ED USE: +19%
ASTHMA: +24%
ANXIETY: +27%
MENTAL-HEALTH DRUG USE: +57%
MENTAL-HEALTH THERAPY: +60%
(This is a retrospective study that does not prove causality, but it does send screaming signals that need to be investigated. So far, that has not happened.)
We cannot afford to go back just as the truth is emerging.
What We Are Really Voting For
The opening lines of the complaint in Missouri Versus Biden quote George Washington’s 1783 address to the Officers of the Army:
If “the Freedom of Speech may be taken away,” then “dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter.”
Neither party is 100% trustworthy. Politicians lie. They can lie with smiles, warmth, and antics. But they lie. It’s what they do best.
But we do know this…
…The mechanisms to censor the truth over COVID and elections were all there for either party to use. One party chose to utilize them and the other to expose the censorship. We must not allow the abusers to regain the reins of power.
There are few honest politicians among either party, but that doesn’t leave us helpless. This election is not about oil prices or inflation. Those will all change as they always have. It’s not about choosing the lessor of 2 evils. It’s about wielding our influence where it will do the most good.
One party vote as a block, the other as individuals who often disagree. The public is powerless to move the block, but we can influence the individuals who move the party.
We need our voices heard. Censorship silences them. We have made progress, but this can change with the push of a button. Tomorrow, there is no limit to what can be silenced. Religious practices? Homeschooling benefits? Harms from gender care? Damages of mandates?
Our vote is the only leverage we have. It won’t fix the system, but it can punish the worst offenders and reward the ones who are at least reachable.
The goal isn’t purity. It’s reducing the harm and keeping the machinery from becoming fully revived so that we can continue to have our voices heard…and move the needle.
