#141 - CONSERVATIVE FUNDRAISERS ARE IN STORMS

CONSERVATIVE FUNDRAISERS ARE IN STORMS

I have written in previous memos and blog posts about conservative fundraisers being in a number of storms.

Are you involved in grassroots fundraising for a conservative nonprofit?

Are you receiving fewer donations than expected, and is your income off significantly?

Are you seeing the cost of postal mail increase 30%+ in the last few years?

Are you being told it will take 2 months to mail your mailing? If this describes you, you are not alone.

Every conservative organization I’m aware of (dozens and dozens) are experiencing reduced income this year from fewer donors, long delays to mail letters, and much higher costs.  Why?

We’re in some major storms.

We’re all in the same storms, but the size of our boats are different.

Usually those in large boats have professionals involved.  Lack of professional assistance will make it exceptionally difficult to successfully navigate the storms.

And these storms are not temporary.  We’re not dealing with a speed bump.  We’re looking at three or more years to get through these storms and the major cost increases in postal mail is permanent -- and actually will get worse soon.

The names of the storms are:

  1. INFLATION FOR DONORS—major cost increases for food, transportation, rent, etc. is causing people to donate less, especially those who usually give under $100.

  2. INFLATION FOR POSTAL MAIL—costs for printing, postage, lettershop, lists, etc. have increased 30%+.

  3. HIGH GAS/FUEL PRICES.

  4. LACK OF NATIONAL CONSERVATIVE LEADERS WITH HIGH ENERGY.

  5. MAGA LEADERS HAVE SIGNIFICANT DISAGREEMENTS WITH REPUBLICANS AND CONSERVATIVES.

  6. THERE'S A FEELING AMONG MANY CONSERVATIVE DONORS THAT WITH DONALD TRUMP AS PRESIDENT AND A REPUBLICAN CONGRESS REALLY BAD THINGS WILL NOT HAPPEN—THEREFORE WE CAN RELAX AND NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT LIBERTY.

Ships and airplanes regularly go through storms.  Most all come out on the other side in good shape because they were prepared and had a skilled and professional team.  Of course, while you’re in the storm it can be very unpleasant, even frightening.

However, now and then a ship or plane doesn’t get through the storm, usually because of a mistake by a person, e.g., a lack of professionalism.

The purpose of my next few blog posts will be to help you get through these storms.
