CRIME PLUMMETS ACROSS AMERICA UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP:
• NON-FATAL VIOLENT CRIME DOWN 25% • AGGRAVATED ASSAULT DOWN 31% • ROBBERIES DOWN 27% • BURGLARY AND TRESPASSING DOWN 25% • MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT DOWN 30% • PROPERTY CRIME DOWN 19%
These dramatic declines demonstrate the impact of President Trump’s commitment to cracking down on crime, holding criminals accountable, and making American communities safer. The survey is based on a nationally representative sample of about 240,000 persons in about 150,000 households, taken from US Census Bureau data. According to the New York Post, the declines are steeper than those reported by the FBI this past May, which recorded aggravated assault dropping by more than 7% and violent crime declined by about 9.3%. Officials have credited the reductions to Trump’s push to end cashless bail policies, deploy the National Guard to Washington, DC, and other major cities, and close the southern border to illegal immigration. “This report is proof that President Trump’s ‘Make America Safe Again’ agenda is working,” said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward in a statement. “Under President Trump and Attorney General [Todd] Blanche, the safety of law-abiding Americans will always come first,” Woodward added. “This success reinforces our commitment to ensuring every American can live, work, and raise a family without fear.” |
