Where Is The Money To Overthrow President Trump Coming From?

We’ve been following the drops of information from the trove of seditious conspiracy files @DataRepublican uncovered and has been posting to her X (Twitter) feed.

At the center of this conspiracy is a group of former USAID staff, Leftist military officers, former intelligence agency staff and Democrat non-government organization operatives funded by Leftist billionaires and potentially foreign governments.

The organizations and individuals include:

Danielle Reiff

Dr. Paul Zeitz

Erica Chenoweth, Ph.D.

Rear Admiral Michael E. (Mike) Smith (Ret), founder and president of National Security Leaders for America

And these organizations:

Renew to Thrive (R2T)

United Democracy Alliance (UDA) see articles here and here

50501 and its main website here

Indivisible

Horizons

National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A)

Democracy Funders Network, Dark money organization chaired by Rachel Pritzker, cousin of Illinois’ Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker.

Governors Safeguarding Democracy (GSD), Chaired by Illinois’ Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker.

Smith is the public facing part of the seditious conspiracy to dress it up as “patriotism,” the others operate more in the shadows.

And there’s one other shadowy organization you need to know and remember, United Democracy Alliance. You will not find any mentions of the United Democracy Alliance (UDA) on the web. It is a mega-alliance of resistance NGOs ready to deploy on a moment's notice, monitoring every action President Trump takes and monitoring every polling place, explained Jennica Pounds (@DataRepublican).

This elaborate structure, that includes many highly trained and presumably highly compensated people, must consume enormous amounts of money, begging the question, “Where does all the money come from?”

To fully appreciate where all this money comes from turn up your sound and watch the video below:

Each of the organizations in the “Alliance” have their own leadership and sources of funding.

For example, Renew to Thrive (R2T) functions more as a network/coordinating platform than a high-revenue independent nonprofit with full 990s listing major contributors.

  • Ties to Mediators Foundation / IMIP: R2T connects through Walt Roberts (IMIP director/co-founder) and the Mediators Foundation’s Inter-Movement Impact Project, which convenes pro-democracy and civic health leaders. Mediators Foundation (EIN 04-3002588) has received substantial grants tracked in Form 990 data, including roughly $3.2 million from the National Philanthropic Trust, hundreds of thousands from Morgan Stanley Global Impact Funding Trust, Hewlett Foundation support, and smaller amounts from other sources (e.g., Fetzer Institute, Battery Foundation, Denver Foundation). Total tracked foundation grants to it in recent years run into the millions.
  • Broader democracy/civic ecosystem funders: R2T/RAD operates within (and is linked in reporting to) networks involving groups like Horizons Project (tied to the United Democracy Alliance and “blocking” strategies), Braver Angels, Better Together America-style hubs, and related civic renewal efforts. Common funders of this broader space include:
    • William & Flora Hewlett Foundation
    • Omidyar Network
    • Rockefeller Brothers Fund
    • Carnegie Corporation
    • Ford Foundation
    • David and Lucile Packard Foundation (notably for Horizons Project via New Venture Fund/Arabella Advisors fiscal sponsorship)
    • Other entities such as Democracy Fund, National Philanthropic Trust, and donor-advised funds.

Horizons Project specifically received launch support from Ford and a $500k Packard grant through New Venture Fund.

Tracked foundation/nonprofit grants to the Indivisible Project total roughly $13.5–14 million from about 24 funders. Leading ones include:

  • Open Society Policy Center Inc. (part of the Open Society network associated with George Soros): ~$5.0 million (largest tracked funder; multiple grants 2021–2023). Related Open Society Action Fund has made large grants, including a documented $3 million in 2023 “to support the grantee’s social welfare activities.” Cumulative Open Society support across Indivisible entities has been reported in the range of $7.6–8+ million since around 2017.
  • Fund for a Better Future Inc.: ~$4.2 million.
  • Tides Foundation and Tides Advocacy: several hundred thousand dollars combined (Tides entities have also served as early fiscal sponsors).
  • Wellness Advocacy Fund: ~$750,000.
  • Others: Future Forward USA Action, Center for Community Change Action, Movement Action Fund, Sixteen Thirty Fund, MoveOn.org Civic Action, and smaller grants from various progressive funds.

Indivisible Civics (the 501(c)(3) arm) has received ~$13.3 million from ~70 funders in the same period. Top ones include the Sandler Foundation (~$3.0 million), Freedom Together Foundation (~$2.1 million), Orange County Community Foundation, Schmidt Family Foundation, Wallace Global Fund, and others.

Other Funding Sources

  • Major individual/high-net-worth donors and networks: Reporting has linked support to figures such as Reid Hoffman and donors associated with progressive networks like the Democracy Alliance (e.g., names tied to Sandler and others in early coverage). Individual donor lists are not fully public on Form 990s.
  • Grassroots/small-dollar contributions: Indivisible emphasizes these (via ActBlue and similar platforms) as a core part of its model. They form a significant but not majority share in many years; foundations and major gifts have often been larger portions of revenue (e.g., one analysis noted foundations at ~41% and major gifts ~32% in a recent year, with small-dollar ~23%).
  • Internal transfers and related entities: Grants flow between Indivisible Project, Indivisible Civics, and affiliated action funds/PACs. Recent revenues for Indivisible Project have been in the $10–12+ million range annually (e.g., ~$10.4 million in FY2024).

Indivisible states it does not accept corporate or political party funding and aims to diversify sources. Full individual donor identities are not required to be disclosed for all contributions (especially under certain thresholds or via intermediaries/donor-advised funds), so public records capture foundation grants and larger institutional flows most clearly. Early operations used Tides fiscal sponsorship before independent status.

Governors Safeguarding Democracy, founded by seditious Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker, is funded by GovAct, a project of Global Impact.

  • GovAct is a fiscally sponsored project of Global Impact (a Virginia-based organization that sponsors many projects). This structure means funding often flows through the sponsor, and detailed public financials or full donor lists for the project can lag or be limited compared to independent organizations with their own long track records of Form 990 filings.

Known Funding Publicly documented funding includes:

  • Pierre Omidyar’s Democracy Fund: A $500,000 grant in September 2024 to GovAct. The purpose was described as supporting “coordinating and strengthening the work of governors to address specific threats to American democracy,” with a focus on “state and local accountability.”

All of these organizations have one thing in common – they all claim to be fighting to overthrow the Trump administration to “protect our democracy” from the imaginary “authoritarianism” of Donald Trump. To accomplish this anti-constitutional goal, they share an interlocking and overlapping leadership through such network/coordinating platforms as Renew to Thrive and United Democracy Alliance, an arrangement demanding a seditious conspiracy investigation and indictment if the allegations are found to be true.

The trove exposed by @DataRepublican is literally thousands of documents, videos and communications outlining what amounts to the kind of “color revolution” our intelligence agencies helped facilitate in other countries – the big difference is these former intelligence operatives, military officers and non-government organization leaders are deploying those techniques right here, in America.

And crazy as it sounds, they mean it, and they have the people, plan and money to carry it off.
