Is Sharia a ‘Religion of Peace’ or a Strategy for War?

On March 3, 2026, 1.9 million Texans voted for Proposition 10 on the Republican primary ballot which simply said: “Texas should prohibit sharia law.” They evidently did not buy the narrative long promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood, other stealth jihadists and their enablers in the U.S. government namely that Islam – and, hence it’s political-military-legal operating system, sharia – is a “religion of peace.”
And rightly so. After all, 1400 years of hard experience with Mohammed and his successors demonstrates conclusively that, from its earliest days in Medina to the present moment, sharia has been about power – how to obtain it through jihad (in various forms, but preferably via terrifying violence/conquest), how to hold onto it, how to wield it and how to ensure the submission of non-sharia-adherent Muslims and “infidels.”

This is the first of a series of webinars, hosted by the Institute for the American Future’s BanSharia.com Project, aimed at exposing the threat posed by sharia and encouraging the American people to oppose its further insinuation into and imposition on this country. Their immediate purpose, like that of the project’s Save Texas, Save America Campaign more broadly is to help make prohibiting sharia a voting issue in this year’s elections.

Here is an example of one such effort in Ft. Bend County, Texas in connection with three of today’s elections there. It contrasts the expectation conjured by a flyer circulated by partisans of three Democratic female Muslim candidates with what may be a chilling reality – namely, that they support sharia, with all that entails, including forcing women to “cover.”
