The news that the luminaries of the Washington press corps were crying and screaming in fear as they huddle under tables, attempting to evade an assassin targeting President Donald Trump and officials of his administration attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner was a moment of schadenfreude for many conservatives.
For years conservatives engaged in public life have been subjected to the foulest verbal abuse, physical assaults and beatings, and assassinations – President Donald Trump and TP USA founder Charlie Kirk being only the most recent and most prominent – prompted in large measure by the unhinged and outrageously false media narratives pushed on a suggestible and emotionally unstable Leftwing audience.
So, to the extent the media grandees attending this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner suddenly found themselves in the line of fire for a change they have no one to blame but themselves and their choice to give credibility to the narratives of those promoting the darkest vectors of the mental illness known as Trump Derangement Syndrome or TDS.
A review of the manifesto posted by alleged assassin Cole Tomas Allen reveals how this highly suggestible and gullible Leftwinger was deluded into thinking violence against President Trump and his Cabinet officials was not only justified, but necessary.
For example, Allen cites these demonstrably false allegations against President Trump as proof his actions are necessary:
…I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.
(Well, to be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first real opportunity I’ve had to do something about it.)
And just in case the progressive media thought their status as fellow travelers on the Left with Cole Tomas Allen, they should be disabused of that notion by this chilling line in his manifesto:
I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary (on the basis that most people *chose* to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor, and are thus complicit)...
That would make the progressive media complicit on both ends of the attempted assassination – complicit in promoting the narratives that prompted it, and being “complicit targets” through mere proximity to President Trump and members of his administration.
And Cole went on to further justify his actions using a seriously warped view of Christianity:

He continued, “I’m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when someone else is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.”

Rep. Dan Goldman on Wednesday accused President Donald Trump of having been credibly accused of sexually assaulting a minor and alleged that the Justice Department is withholding related records from the public. Calling the situation “an outrage and a disgrace,” Goldman urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to appoint a special counsel to investigate Trump.
His remarks came after reports that the DOJ did not release certain records from the Epstein files involving an unverified allegation against Trump dating back to the 1980s.
And the worst thing is the media is still doing it, even after the attempted assassination that put them in the line of fire.

"Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you're horrible people," Trump answered. "Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody."
"Do you think he was referring to you?" O'Donnell asked.
"I'm not a pedophile. You read that crap from some sick person? I got associated with all...stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated. Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let's say, Epstein or other things. But I said to myself, 'You know, I'll do this interview and they'll probably...' I read the manifesto. You know, he's a sick person. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that because I'm not any of those things," Trump said.
